May 6, 2024 – Gigi Hadid Attends The 2024 Met Gala In Custom Thom Browne

It was the first Monday of May, which means the Met Gala returned the The Metropolitan Museum of Art. This year’s exhibition is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”, with the dress code being “The Garden of Time”. Think: archival pieces, florals, and an ode to nature in general. Our girl Gigi Hadid has made yet another memorable Met Gala appearance by bringing a princess dress to the red carpet. “We had so much fun with the theme”, Gigi said.

Styled by Mimi Cuttrell, she wore a custom Thom Browne corset dress embroidered with over two million white micro bugle beads. Instead of flowing into a traditional skirt, the dress was overlayed with a satin tailored jacket featuring layers of ruffled fabric and yellow roses. A team of 70 people worked on the dress — the 2.8 million beads on the dress took 5,000 hours to be embroidered by hand. To top her look off, Gigi wore jewelry by Chopard.

What do you think of this year’s Met look?
